Sheriff Weston Ashcroft’s family land, protected legally from HOA authority since 1893, becomes the target of Renata Blackwell’s desperate scheme after her family’s finances collapse and her three years of failed complaints against him leave her convinced destruction is the only way to force him out. She hires a demolition contractor to bulldoze what she claims is an abandoned outbuilding, unaware the coordinates actually point to the occupied south wing of the Ashcroft home, where Weston’s wife Dahlia is sleeping.
