The Grandmother Everyone Underestimated Left Me The Power To End It All

Margaret set the blue folder open on the concierge desk so the whole lobby could see it. Inside were the years of evidence my grandmother had quietly gathered, bank letters showing my father draining company accounts, investigator invoices tracing where the money had gone, board notices he had hidden from everyone. Grandma did it. I just finally decided to open the folder she left me.”
