A Neighbor’s Property Line Dispute Turns Into a Reckoning

After spending nine years running his landscaping business from a wraparound gravel driveway, Nate finds his new neighbor Dean Whitlock quietly encroaching on his property with orange cones, dismissive comments about his truck, and passive-aggressive claims about the property line. When Dean’s dinner guests block Nate’s driveway and Dean insists the boundary “extends pretty far” onto Nate’s land, Nate calmly moves the cones onto Dean’s lawn instead of arguing, prompting Dean to show up at his door minutes later.

As Dean stands on the porch, clearly agitated that his attempt to quietly claim extra property had been so casually dismissed, Nate realizes this confrontation is only the beginning of a dispute that Dean seems determined to escalate, unaware that Nate has both the patience and the paperwork to end it decisively.
