A Pregnant Wife Gave Up Everything In Court While Her Husband’s Mistress Laughed Out Loud

Daisy didn’t look at her father. She ran straight down the aisle and threw her arms around Elise’s legs, careful of the baby. Judge Fitch knelt beside her. “Daisy, can you tell everyone what you told me in the hallway?” Daisy nodded, her chin trembling. “The cruel lady puts white pills in Mommy Elise’s vitamins,” she whispered. “Daddy watches her do it.”

The courtroom erupted. Brianna shot to her feet, calling it a lie, calling the child confused. Graham said nothing at all. He had gone gray. Daisy unzipped a small pocket on the back of her stuffed rabbit and pulled out a pink kids’ tablet with a cracked screen. “I was making my cooking show,” she said quietly, holding it up to the judge. “I recorded it.”
