The Recording Through The Hotel Wall That Turned My Sabotaged Wedding Into Their Downfall

By dawn, the entire day had been quietly rebuilt around them without their knowledge. I moved myself, my dress, and the real wedding rings into the second bridal suite under my cousin Delia’s name, where Sabrina could not reach any of them. Then I let Sabrina keep believing she was still in charge. I handed her a ring box, decoy bands I had bought from the hotel gift shop at three in the morning. I let her fuss over a garment bag that held nothing but a spare robe. Every access point she thought she controlled now led to a dead end I had built while she slept off her own cruelty.

The last piece was the recording. I sent the four-minute file to my brother Wesley, to Julian, and to the wedding planner, so that no matter what happened, the truth existed in three places she could never delete. Then I got dressed, smiled, and walked toward a ceremony my maid of honor thought she was about to ruin.
